Picture the scene a lonely chap in the grim north-western town of Accrington who was coming to the end of his College Education with little or no hope for a future in anything and so sometime between EastEnders and Coronation Street, with a cup of tea in hand this bold boy formed what is today known as T BIRDS.

From humble beginnings customizing t-shirts for friends in his parent’s garage, this chap would begin to see how little had changed in the street and high fashion worlds. This lack of diversity in the fashion world acted as some form of catalyst for the poorly shaven chap. Thus he decided to create a t-shirt brand based around what appeared to be missing in the fashion world. The customer and the artists. With these two components at the forefront of the chap’s head, he began to design t-shirts and enlist the help of some of the UK’s best artists. Not only was it important to have UK artists, but to have the products made in the UK was equally important. Not because of any political goals or aims, but simply it’s easier to get to places on the train or in a car within the UK than travelling abroad.

Now a new chapter has begun and you are looking at it. The website is now live and as you can see from the blog it isn’t your typical self-indulgent tripe, it’s about the life and development of a brand. T BIRDS is all about involvement if you are interested in how the brand works, what it takes to make it in the world of clothing or just want to tell us about an amazing cup of tea please don’t hesitate to get in touch and heck if it makes us laugh enough you may get a free t-shirt out of it.
