Grey Area

Friday, February 27th, 2009

Just after I said that my copy of Kev Grey’s new book hadn’t been sent to me I saw it today and bought it. This really is a good read and I feel that you should go out of your house and buy it or stay inside and buy it from here.

Mailio

I arrived home from a somewhat dreary day to be presented with a couple of unexpected parcels. It is always good to come home to post and regular readers of this blog will no doubt know how much post I do get, which I guess is lucky for me.

Fiona from Viva sent me a lovely t-shirt which I will be wearing very soon, but you will just have to wait and see what for. Fiona is a lovely lady who writes and works for Viva who do some good work fighting for and protecting animal rights. She tells me even if you aren’t a veggie or vegan you can still donate and help out, you won’t get shouted at… much.

The next parcel was from the undisputed website king of the world Daddison… well I don’t know about that, but he helped to design this one so he has done OK. Daddison is involved with so many things it is barely worth mentioning them all. However your second favourite brand Bite My Style is launching soon so get saving up.

As much as I dislike London(e) I have to say that Kung Fu London have done a great job of mixing all of my favourite music and culture aspects all into one blog go and check it out, just say that they should move to somewhere like I don’t know Grimsby…

New News

Monday, February 23rd, 2009

I won’t even apologise for my lack of blogging just recently as it is just rude however I do have lots and lots of new things to tell you about, but here are my top three…

1) Lost Art have released a little teaser of their upcoming video. I really liked the EAST video that Mackey managed to put together, so no doubt this one will be just as good. Plus anything that has the late Ol’ Dirty on the soundtrack is going to be amazing!

2) Laura-Kate Chapman has a new website that was launched last week and it would only be rude of me not to comment on that. She has just sold a few works in Paris (Ooh La La) so if you want her to draw for you, do it quickly before her prices go up to two Mars Bars.

3) Finally one of T BIRDS favourite artists has released a new book jam-packed full of new and exciting things. I am waiting on my copy and hopefully the god of art will send me one. Or I will just call my PayPal account into action… whichever happenes first. Click here to buy it!

Brilliant

Still Open

Thursday, February 12th, 2009

Hello… Is this thing on… one, two, one two. Sorry if I haven’t been blogging recently I have been a really busy boy hopping up and down the country and then down and then to the left and then back up. I am knackered now so here is a picture of the best hot chocolate I have ever tasted, in Bristol of all places!

I always feel that people prefer pictures to me babbling on. So here are a few things that I have been up to over the past few weeks.

Girls Don’t Wear Nice Things

Sunday, February 1st, 2009

I always find it strange and quite exciting when I see girls wearing streetwear and in my experience since this style of dress isn’t targeted at young ladies, they always tend to take it a little more seriously and really do know their stuff. This picture below is one of T BIRDS’ best chums, Harvie she has been a supporter for such a long time I think that she liked the brand even before I knew it existed. It is always good to see ladies wearing things that are a little different and making them their own by slashing the sleeves off and doing what they want to it.

She probably won’t thank me for putting this picture on here, but it just made me smile.
