Wednesday, December 17th, 2008A Little Reminder
Monday, December 15th, 2008One of my very best friends in the world is Dave Mackey owner of the best skate shop in the world Lost Art and possibly the nicest guy in the world. I was just perusing the internet and came across his section for his ex-brand EAST. Boys and Girls sit and watch, class in in session.
If you get the chance pop in and buy one of those killer Kev Grey x Lost Art tees, I know I have put one on my list from Father Christmas.
Early Evening
Wednesday, December 10th, 2008One of my favourite bands in the world, It Hugs Back, sent me a lovely early Christmas gift today. I like yellow and I also like it when I can advertise to the world that I like a band that seems to make music just for me. If you aren’t up on It Hugs Back go and listen to Xfm or go and visit their Myspace page. Make sure to buy their EPs too as they will make you smile. That is a promise.
I also got sent a little magazine today which advertises Local Lancastrian products. I loved looking through the pages and it makes you proud that there is still lots of private and independent retailers and manufacturers doing something different. We here at T BIRDS like helping local and British manufacturers, just check the label in your shirts!
Now off to listen to It Hugs back.
A nice little relaxing Christmas number.

Wednesday, December 3rd, 2008Anyone who knows me, knows that I love football. Be it Premiership, Amateur, Foreign or anything else I can’t help but adore football. One thing that is somewhat perturbing is the sheer amount of money that is involved in it, I know nowadays it would be silly of me to view football as the working class sport of the masses when I myself pay £35.00 to sit in cold for 90 minutes only to ask myself why I did it. Yesterday though something wonderful happened something that made me realize why I love football and it is the unexpected nature of it all. Burnley Football Club, who if there were a shop (as regards their finances) would be Poundland, have managed to reek havoc in the footballing ascendancy as they have beaten two of the most decorated and rich clubs in the world, Chelsea and Arsenal respectively. Sometimes it just makes you realize how much you appreciate something when an event like this happens.
Thank you Burnley.
