It’s the soldier not the reporter who gives you the freedom of the press.

It’s the soldier not the poet who gives you the freedom of speech.

It’s the soldier not the campus organizer who allows you to demonstrate.

It’s the soldier who salutes the flag, serves the flag, whose coffin is draped with the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.

And it was all Yellow

Sunday, November 2nd, 2008

Well after a few lovely packages came through my door over the past few days I thought that I would post this one on here. The lovely chaps from Guy Cotten sent me a lovely Rosbras jacket. You may all laugh at it’s yellowness, but believe me this is one of the warmest and driest coats that I have ever worn.

I think something happened when I became a certain age, whereby I started to care more about the design and quality of garments as opposed to how much they cost / how big the print is / whether it was an all-over print or not. I guess that could be why I Like Barbour and Guy Cotten maybe? Or maybe just because it is cool? Either way at the moment I just want to look like James Bond, which I might add I am off to see this afternoon.
