STUDying
Wednesday, October 29th, 2008This week I have been catching up with books that I have been meaning to read for ages now. Suffice to say that I haven’t done half as much as I would like to do, but I guess I will just carry on ploughing through it all. The best part of all is that the only book that I have enjoyed is the one made up primarily of pictures.
Studs is a retro album made up of pieces from football magazines throughout the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s, when it would appear that footballers were actually famous for playing football as opposed to who their wife is / was or how much money they make. It is a really interesting read and if anything it will make you smile…
I probably like this piece for all the wrong reasons, but it just made me smile. Some would say that attitudes have changed, but the fact is British women footballers do get paid about 80% less than the average male Premiership footballer… that is a joke. Rachel Yankey is still my favourite female footballer. Anyways on that sombre note I shall leave and carry on reading.
Creamy
Friday, October 24th, 2008One of the very best things about having your own company is making new friends. One of my newest friends is Ali who works for a new moisturizer company called Steamcream she sent me a little pot for an upcoming project that I am working on and I am sure that you will all love it. If you want tour own pot send Ali an e-mail and she will more than gladly help you out, for the measly fee of £10, Supple, soft skin and a nice pot to look at. What more could you want?
Anyways I am now off to work on the project and enjoy my evening.

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008It is rare that I shamelessly plug a product that isn’t T BIRDS related, however today I played with the Google Phone better known as the T-Mobile G1. It can just about do everything that a young man could ever want. It also has a full qwerty key pad so for us awful texters out there this is a blessing.
So basically I want one. Whoever controls these things please send me a phone. Or I will just have to steal one.
It’s all in the DNA
Monday, October 20th, 2008It has been long overdue that I showed you one of my all time favourite designers brands, DNA Groove. Claudio De Rossi from Vicenza, Italy is one of the most talented and try to detail Mod designers in the world in my very humble opinion. Obviously it helps being Italian as they just a knack for smart clothing and how best to get clothing to sit on a body. Just go on the website and look at the detail and colours that this chap uses. It is amazing.
Enough of sounding pretentious about clothing. The man is also lovely and can be found milling around on the Modculture Forums. So if you get chance go and post your fashion questions and he will always help.
Baining Bridges
Friday, October 17th, 2008As you may remember I did mention that I was off to see my dear friend Andy this week to wave him good bye as he ventured off to Australia. I took a few snaps whilst I was on my travels so please enjoy. Below is a morning in my home town. As my Grandma says “The nights are drawing in.”
Whilst waiting for the train to whisk me off to Liverpool I noticed this chap waiting for me.
When I arrived, I was waiting for a member of the T BIRDS Family Laura-Kate Chapman when I noticed a cake shop specializing in novelty Birthday sponges. I do wonder how many people ask for this cake in Liverpool.
It seemed like Brogues were the footwear of choice for the evening when I met Laura-Kate and she flashed these at me… My Brogues just didn’t even matter.
Some peoples footwear choice could be at best described as questionable.
My dressing table.
SSS are live in Liverpool soon go and say Hi. Tell Foxy T BIRDS sent you.
A hard days night and Tom ended up sleeping like a log.
Good Luck Andy you are a true gentleman and I wish you every success with your venture brother.
Commercial Break
Wednesday, October 15th, 2008Its just been a good year for adverts. Bring on the Christmas adverts…
Sand in the Crevice
Sunday, October 12th, 2008I don’t feel that I need to say anymore. Sometimes I just need a jog to the beach.
In other news, if you are anywhere near Liverpool this Thursday get down to the city centre as we are sending of my hero Andrew Bainbridge to Australia in style. If you don’t have chance there will not doubt be a few pictures afterwards for you to look at.
Take Me Home…
Thursday, October 9th, 2008It seems so long ago since I was there.
I did queue up for a POST cap and I sure as hell would do it again. If you don’t know something about The Hundreds by now you are either very silly or not aware of how huge fans we are here at T BIRDS of the LA-based brand. Now it’s time to watch Raymond Blanc kick off yet another hopeless couple off the Restaurant. How have those two blokes not gone yet? Cripes.
